Jane Magan Chang

Founder and Creative Director

Jane Magan Chang is the Founder and Creative Director of Janerockstar Salon. Born and raised in South Cotabato, Philippines, she is a proud first-generation Filipina (Ilongga) who immigrated to the United States in 2013 through a long-awaited family petition.

Gifted in both music and advanced hair color formulation, Jane has built her career on excellence, creativity, and mentorship. With over a decade of experience as a licensed hairstylist, she is deeply committed to training and empowering the next generation of stylists, helping them master advanced coloring techniques and grow with confidence and purpose. 

Beyond the salon, Jane serves full-time in ministry alongside her sisters, Michelle Chang, an RN and women’s leader, and Cynty Chang, an occupational therapist and worship leader. Together, they actively serve at Embrace Ministry, a Bible study community for young professionals, and Gather Church, a church plant in Los Alamitos, Southern California. Their work includes leading worship, serving in food ministries, and discipling young professional women in their faith. 

For Jane, true fulfillment is not found in wealth or status, but in faithfully walking in God’s purpose. Whether through beauty, mentorship, or ministry, her life and work are driven by a desire to serve others and honor the heart of Jesus Christ.

Marilyn Burgos

Certified Ruby Hair Stylist

Marilyn Burgos is a Certified Ruby Hair Stylist at JaneRockstar Salon, licensed since 2016. She specializes in men’s haircuts and braiding, with years of experience creating clean, stylish, and well-balanced looks. 



After passing the JaneRockstar Salon skills examination in 2022, Marilyn expanded her services to include color correction and chemical texture treatments. She is known for her gentle approach, careful consultations, and commitment to helping clients feel confident and beautiful after every visit. 

Teresa Rodriguez

Licensed Cosmetologist

Teresa Rodriguez is a licensed cosmetologist at JaneRockstar Salon with over nine years of experience in the beauty industry. She began her career as a certified makeup artist before expanding into hair styling in 2017, building a strong foundation in artistic and technical services. 



In 2020, Teresa further elevated her craft by pursuing cosmetology training with a focus on nail artistry. Known for her creativity, precision, and client-focused approach, she delivers polished, personalized results designed to enhance each client’s natural beauty. 

Laida Chang

Ruby Stylist

Laida Chang is a valued member of the JaneRockstar Salon team who began her beauty industry journey after spending over a decade as a dedicated caregiver. In 2020, she joined the salon as an assistant, marking the start of a new and inspiring chapter in her career. 



Since then, Laida has grown alongside the JaneRockstar Salon team, developing her skills while building meaningful connections with clients. Guided by her faith and supported by her family, she believes it’s never too late to pursue your passion and continues to approach her work with heart, dedication, and purpose. 

Marian Azurin

Hair & Makeup Artist

Marian Azurin is a Hair & Makeup Artist at JaneRockstar Salon, known for her calm, soft-spoken presence that instantly puts clients at ease. A versatile cosmetologist, she specializes in creating fresh, elegant looks through both hairstyling and makeup artistry.



With a refined eye for beauty and detail, Marian brings grace and creativity to every service. Her resemblance to Iza Calzado often delights first-time guests, adding to the memorable experience she creates for each client.
